Back in the 80's, working construction, union job, $5/hr. I was envious here. Bobby had a place to sleep and food. If he gets $2200 for being out, its more than I ever made. If the reality was $4500, then nobody should've been complaining. My $5/hr had to cover food, rent, car, insurance and very little in savings. A rookie at $4500, I could've saved $4200. I get food and a bed working on that boat, I'd have signed up, no complaints. $2251? That's $2000 in savings. It's what you do with you money that counts, and i saw a bar scene in this movie. I never went to a bar. Either get a motel room or stay with a friend. I'd have a steak dinner somewhere.

I wonder if Bobby agreed to only a three quarters share when he signed up
