Ledger is also now trying to force KYC and a backup (backdoor) to your seed phrase (for your safety)... RUN

Also, Trezor could be used IN CONJUNCTION WITH a software wallet like Sparrow; so even if the bad guys were able to extract the seed phrase from the Trezor wallet, they'd still have a lot more hurdles to overcome before getting their hands on your crypto.

95% of Ledgers code and software is open source apart from the secure element that stores your private key. The ARM secure element has IP that belongs to them hence why they don’t disclose this part of the device.

I've just got a trezor safe 3 I strongly recommend

1. You don't know about coding. If there's a problem some day, you won't realise until late.

2. Ledger won't steal you, while open source means that hackers can be trying to look for vulnerabilities.

Can you be sure about your seed being truly random and not pre generated when using trezor, ledger, coldcard or any other wallets ?

I like this, I got my ledger from them and it was closed but the cable had a Best Buy sticker on it, like someone from inside is opening it and then making it look new in the package and shipping it out from ledger directly— I should not get a burst buy price that had a march 2023 price tag that says Best Buy on it- the box I bought was nano x - why would a march tag on the cord be in a closed box within the same month I bought a nano x — I’ll go for the Trevor forsure, , thanks

I'm surprised more people arent using Tangem. Why? Is there any security issue that I didn't understand, or anything else? Why Trezor or Ledger are still ahead a product like the Tangem cards. I just decided to go with Tangem, as it seemed to be the best choice to me, but I'd like your opinion guys

are you making an entirely new wallet on trazor or just using the same ledger seed phrase and save yourself the transaction costs?

I have owned 4 Ledger devices. I warn everyone, their devices dont last. One day you will try to use your ledger that you only used a couple of times and stored safely, and it will not work. For example the Nano X has battery issues. If you dont charge it, battery breaks and device will not work even if connected.

Ledger software is open source, you are incorrect

The firmware is open source except for some specific drivers which have been independently verified by a security firm

Ledger also uses a chip to access the secure portion and another chip to access the ledger software, this is better than Trezor that just uses a single chip to access both, this is considered more risky

While ledger is more user friendly, after a year they still have not fixed ARWEAVE being available on their ledger Nano X product, this is really lousy in my opinion

Just recently my Trezor wallet says it can't access my balances.
It's some kind of glitch. That's been happening last few times and I've had it for a year and a 1/2 with no issues before. I'm checking out the Decent wallet. I'm already using a ledger nano x,
Because I wanted split up my assets, not putting all in the same basket.

Oi, what is your opinion about funds safety on Trezor. Thought of getting me one, cause i don't feel conformable holding crypto on binance where i trade, nor on Exodus, which don't give that much trust.
Anyway, thought of getting Trezor but run into dozens of comments ;bout how people's money just disappeared during transaction, account wiped out after half a year of not getting into trezor, etc
