Power Windows not working after battery disconnect? RESET them! How to Restore AUTO up/down feature

After disconnecting the battery, the Auto-open feature of the door windows only work on the way down, but the Auto-close does not work.

Not sure if i told you but the q caught fire... Battery was replaced before i bought it. Was left loose. Wiggled harness out of retaining insulator, starter wire shorted out on battery compartment wall.. Luckily i was able to get away with just replacing abt 10 inches of starter and alternator cables. No blown fuses or CEL and everything is gold.. Been rolling around with half working windows and just now remembered "oh yeah Ed did a video on this." You'll be happy to know it works on the q70's also... Thanks for this saving grace... I got some exhaust work done. Should check out my cold start... I think you'll like it..
