We've been trying to research this issue for a long time. Thought problem might be a fuse. Spoke with local Toyota dealer who said it would be $200 to diagnose problem and $900 to to fix. Of course, the diagnostic fee could be applied to repairs. We said battery had been changed, what could we try, but nothing offered. Fury! We thank you so very much. This worked like a charm first time on Toyota Prius Prime. You're a good man!

Thanks! O m g... Both my rear windows stopped working over a YEAR ago from the driver side door panel. I thought I blew a fuse or something because they stopped working when my battery kept dying and needed a jump.
I just gave up on those windows for over a year. I never have passengers in the back, so I didn't even try the buttons on the rear door panels... I kept thinking o m g I don't want to take this too Toyota to fix it...ill just go without using the windows.
Anyhow.... thank the Lord for your video because I followed your steps today and BADA BING, BADA BANG, BOTH REAR WINDOWS now go up and down controlled by my driver side door panel!!! Amazeballs!!!! Lolol thank I'm so excited!!!!

Wow! you just saved me a trip to the dealer. When I test drove the windows all worked, but when I picked it up to drive home...both passenger side windows didn't work and they didn't know why at the small dealer I got the car from. Thanks a bunch!

Dude it worked! the Vitz/ Yaris 08 had the same issue, not able to get the passanger window from the drivers seat, did it 5 times and it worked flowless! New sub!

Dude, you just saved me from a rip off. It took me less than 60 seconds to solve this issue.
Guess what, I been trying to reach an auto mechanic for the last 48 hours and when I eventually did, he got in my car and checked it out. His recommendation was that I should buy a new switch from “stealership” or online so he can replace it and charge me in addition to that for installation. Well, don’t trust everything they say I don’t care if it’s your favorite uncle. Come to the University of YouTube and check things out for yourself.
You might go through a couple of videos but guys, it’s always worth it.
