it starts popping off around 20 chapters in iirc and is just an absolute rollercoaster from there. be warned that this is the same mangaka that did fire punch, don't expect happiness and the power of friendship even though its in WSJ

Honestly this manga is one of my favorites right now. It has a great story and art with even better fight scenes, I think you'll definitely enjoy it.

Chainsaw man is the kind of thing that just gets better and better. The art, story and characters in general have so much potential in the beginning which gets unlocked as it goes on. I highly recommending sticking with this one bc shit goes down. For those reasons, its one of my favourites ever.

Love this series so much. Not at all your typical shounen. It’s also the only manga I know of to pull off the pervy guy and not make him unbearable

Oh man you HAVE to read Fire Punch (by the same creator as Chainsaw Man). It's so good but the creator really knows how to mess you up. It hit me harder than series like Berserk and Oyasumi Punpun.
Edit: also just a tip, it is EXTREMELY easy to get spoiled on Chainsaw Man. Many people on twitter who haven't even started it have gotten spoiled on major twists and events. I really recommend reading the digital at some point :)

It's gonna be a few volumes before it gets to where people were so shocked and everyone started really talking about it, great series tho highly recommend sticking with it

I've been interested in Chainsaw man, and I read a little bit of it on the shonen jump app, and it does look like something I would like, so I might continue online first before I buy. Can you make a top 5 or 10 manga covers you own? The only rule is that it has to be one volume per series
