I was introduced to the music of Tom Waits in 1981, when I was 18 years old. I spent many years thereafter listening to very little else. And all these years later he's only gotten better. Thanks for sharing this Justin; maybe I'll have the nerve to give it a try. You did well.

Hi Justin, Hold On is one of my favourite Tom Waits songs, beautiful lyrics, melody and Toms Voice tops the whole experience off. I had watched your lesson and then put the phone in my pocket while I was doing some work and then the whole song played through at the end. Justin... totally agree about Tom Waits... love his music. And his performance... my wife doesn't get it lol... go figure, but i can get lost in Waitsville. Not a pro professional musician, retired Research Scientist, but been picking and discovering musicians since i was a kid. Can't imagine how much I've missed... lol. Nice, Monte Rio is a tiny little town in Sonoma County California deep in the redwoods noted for its beauty and its meth. The Russian River runs near it (the rio part) and TW lives in the general area.
