The outcome of the EU referendum would probably have been different had more young people in the UK bothered to vote. Why are people so disengaged from the political process, and how can we change that? It’s a question James Craig has been considering since the vote for Brexit.

James Craig is a second year A-level student at Exeter College. Having originally aspired to be a doctor, a work experience placement at a firm of solicitors set him on a different path and he now plans to study Law at University. He is thrilled to have been invited to share his ideas at TEDxExeter.

It's very well saying 'Young people are disenfranchised' but frankly the corbyn campaign showed that young people were lazy and only turned out to vote when corbyn started appealing with memes and consequent online campaigns. It is not the responsibility of politicians to make politics attractive or interesting to young people. If they don't inform themselves on the issues or dont go out and vote that's their own fault. Speaking as a 19 year old remainer

Ha ha ha ha.
Yes if the under 30 turn out had been 350% then it would have swung the vote.
You need to know the maths before you present to others.
