DAY 1//FULL BODY STRONG | Weight Training Workout Over 40 [Advanced]

Build strength and lean muscle with this month long, strength focused workout series. All you need is 30 minutes, 3 x per week to start seeing those gains💪

You’ll need a variety of dumbbells to complete this workout. I used a set of 5kg/10Lbs, 8kg/17.5Lbs, 12.5kg/27.5kg dumbbells but you may want to use something lighter or heavier depending on your fitness and strength level.

There are 4 Tri-sets to complete 2 x through. Complete each exercise for 40 secs work/15 secs rest + Finisher

1️⃣Goblet Squat (12.5kg/27.5kg)
2️⃣Deadlift to Row (8kg/17.5Lbs)
3️⃣X Body Front Raise (5kg/10Lbs)

1️⃣Chest Press (12.5kg/27.5kg)
2️⃣Kneel with DB Front Hold (5kg/10Lbs)
3️⃣Curl to Arnold Press (8kg/17.5Lbs)

Tri-set 3
1️⃣Sumo Squat to Sumo Deadlift (12.5kg/27.5kg)
2️⃣Alt Arm Front Raise (8kg/17.5Lbs)
3️⃣Standing Ab Rotation to Halo (5kg/10Lbs)

1️⃣Alt DB Snatch (12.5kg/27.5kg)
2️⃣Tricep Skull Crusher (8kg/17.5Lbs)
3️⃣DB Ab Slam (8kg/17.5Lbs)

Finisher
1️⃣Single Arm Devils Press (L) side (8kg/17.5Lbs)
2️⃣Single Arm Devils Press (R) side (8kg/17.5Lbs)

I'm not over 40, but I have been looking for a strength series where the workouts are all full body and 30 minutes long, this is just what I'm after! With full time work and everything else going on in life, 30 minute workouts are my favourite, they go by so fast! Thanks Penny !!

I'm joining the challenge Penny! I love your videos! I've been doing them over a year now and I'm as of now 5 months pregnant with second baby and in best shape now than first pregnancy!
