7-Year-Old Testifies Against His Own Mother

Amanda Lewis reportedly drowned her daughter when little A.J. Lewis claimed he watched her do it. In court, young A.J. was asked several questions and when asked who that woman in front of him was, he didn't know until asked again realizing it's his own mother.

Very sad they put him on the stand. Heartbreaking. But if he didn’t testify then he would have remained in her custody and she might have gone on to harm or kill him as well. It’s very terrible it came to be that he had to do that. But he recently spoke out, and said he stood by every word he said and he was adopted by a loving, caring family. He said his life with Amanda was dark and bad. He’s now married with children and is a firefighter living under a different name. He doesn’t regret it. But very hard to watch a child in so much pain. 😭

Strange how he says “ yes, sir” or “ no, sir” to every question!!!
If l were told to say yes, sir in court, l quickly would have forgotten to say that and would have to be constantly reminded to say “ sir”!
That’s so not right.

I can't understand why to put this child to testify against his mother in a trial. It's horrible and sad and should not be allowed. 😢
