Heartbreaking. I had a horrific childhood with a mentally and physically abusive mother. The torment went on until I was 50 years old. Finally I'd had enough when my own child had to step in and defend me from her. It affects every aspect of your life from inception to the never-ending doubts and insecurities that plague you into adulthood. Abusive parents need to be held accountable for the emotional destruction they cause regardless of when or how long ago they inflicted the abuse. It is a crime and many of the victims suffer the pain and anguish throughout the remainder of their lives.

Why couldn't they question that boy out of court. There was no need to bring such trauma to that poor little baby period to have his mother staring at him the whole time. Making the poor child torn in grief and love.
This should be outlawed for young children.
