or press G and then B, select the bottom of the object your moving and click on top of the object you're moving it onto

Or place both objects at X=0, Y=0. Than Shift Tab to Snap to Faces and snap the Top one to the Bottom one🙌

This also comes in useful for trying to perfectly align the positions for eye bones to the exact centre of spherical eyeballs. 😉

Much easier and more efficient way is to actually set the snapping mode to faces by clicking on the magnet button at the top. This way youre not always changing the origin points on your models. plus, you can use this for snapping to vertices and lines as well!

Use the align tools extension / addon. Much simpler and you have more options

Or you can just hold ctrl down and it will perfectly snap in to the middle and other places wherever you move it
