Since I bought my Surface Pro 4 and got Office365 for free as a student (really, there's no fee at ALL), I am totally subscribed to Microsoft. There is - as far as I can see - really no competitor to their products whatsoever on the market right now.
The usability of the Office programs has increased so much over the years! Remember the times when Word had those millions of features nobody knew how to use? For me, that time is gone, and I feel more comfortable than ever using Windows, Office and the Surface.

Note: I am a student, and completely independent from Microsoft, there's absolutely no influence, except for their outstanding products

The unfortunate part is that for anyone operating on the enterprise level, we generally don't get much choice over what version of MS Office we're using. I think my workgroup is finally rolling from Office 2010 to Office 2013 at the end of the month, so these features, while nice to see about, probably won't be available for at least another three or four years for our use.
