You can see that these foreign youtubers don't have bad intentions towards India. India really had to improve its cybersecurity and put these people behind the bars.

Finally a popular Indian YouTuber covering this issue, sadly as an Indian living in the west, often people who have not worked with an Indian before have a preconceived notion towards us Indians as being scammers and try to avoid us. The only way to remove these scammers from defaming us is by shaming them mainstream. It'll go a long way in enhancing our soft power in the long run!

As an Canadian of Indian Origin I can confirm that almost all the people here knows that if you get a call from an Indian there are 90% chance its a Scammer. This has gone to that extent that people have started saying that every Indian has two choices either become a CEO or a Scammer. This will slowly but surely destroy the reputation of Indians in the world, more importantly Businesses will be thinking hundred times before opening branches in India.
So thank you for spreading the awareness in India and only you guys can stop this.

I work in Amazon's payment risk investigation department, & I am really fed up dealing with these scammers & fraudsters everyday in my regular order investigation cases. They come with new MOs everyday to scam people & it really hurts to see so many Indian scammers doing this with customers.

Kitboga, Scambaiter are very good YouTubers. They raise so much awareness about Indian scam centers, jo zyadatar Indians khud nahi jaante.

I live in Canada and many locals here, even immigrants from other countries, think a call is a scam if an Indian is speaking on the other end. There's also a huge network of Chinese scammers but they can not speak English and usually target Chinese community only.

Jimbrowning is a genius. He has saved so many victims. India should take the issue seriously rather saying foreigners are defaming India! Thanks for covering this issue on your channel, more people should cover this cause.

Working in IT industry, I feel ashamed when a regular client in USA says they don't want Indian consultant because they are scammers...

These scammers are literal thieves. When I went for my phd in US in 2017, they told us in the orientation that we would be getting scam calls for all sorts of thing like social security fraud, homeland security fraud, etc. and that we should not accept those calls . That's how I came to know. And I literally saw these type of scam calls every other day in my phone.

I’m Indo Canadian and yesterday had to second guess a legit call centre because I heard an Indian accent. It’s a shame what these scammers have done to the image of India and Indians abroad. 10 years ago Indians used to be considered very trustworthy and honest and now we are known as petty thieves and scammers. Takes generations to build a good image yet it took less than a decade to destroy it.

I hope people understand how serious this issue is. I see so many comments about "Indians being scammers" under any post related to India nowadays which is truly heartbreaking to see. If we really want to develop we should raise our voice against this and not justify this under "toh kya hua unhone ne bhi toh Hume loota tha"

I live in the US. Sometimes, when the people here ask me about the Indian accent, they will jokingly fake an Indian accent and say, "Hello, I'm calling from Microsoft". Basically, the first thing that the Indian accent reminds them of are these scam calls. It is extremely embarrassing. These people need to be stopped.

I am an IT professional, i knew about this like an year ago but surprised why no is talking about it, even my colleagues have no idea . Happy that u are doing something, and the foreign youtubers are able to locate them too, they are caught many times but they get out after giving money to cops, its shameful .

The saddest thing is, we tend to think that taking action is important for our 'reputation' but not for general public safety. Other things that don't go international, we don't even accept those things as alarming issues. We bark like dogs and become defensive to hide our 'issues' rather than working on them. Scamming isn't a new problem, it is existing of many years now but how it caught our attention? Just because it went International. This is really sad.

Finally somebody, among Indian YouTubers, covered this issue. In one of the videos of ‘Scambaiter’(i’m not sure if its scam baiter or someother Youtuber) i saw how disturbingly insensitive these scammers are. They knew they were scamming a Middle class Cancer patient. She/He had lost all their savings, which they he/she was supposed to use for their treatment, for these scams. While the patient was crying, the heartless mfs were heard laughing & making fun of the victim. I know because i can understand Hindi. There are many other such instances which boils my blood but lets leave it at that. Not just tech, Indians are famous for their scams to tourists, unethical tour guides, rickshaw walas, local shopkeepers(Clothes, accessories etc). Sadly we as a society lack ethics & morality because of our failed education system(Both Family, schools).
