I was a commercial diver for twenty years, and have seen things I can’t even begin to describe.
One of my most favourite moments was off the coast of Haida Gwaii, when a pod of grey whales decided to hang out with me for an hour. I pet them, rode on their backs and played the entire time. It was very obvious that they enjoyed the experience when the next day they showed up at EXACTLY the same time and place for another hour of fun.
It was so incredible!
