Do not allow Multiple user to run program at same time I Lock object in SAP ABAP I Enqueue & Dequeue

Hello Friends,

In this video I have shown you one more functionality i.e do not allow multiple user to run program at same time.

In some situation you will have to avoid other user to run program at same time due to duplication of data in standard table or we can say related to payment posting to not pay same amount for multiple time.

In this video you can see how we can achieve this functionality by writing some simple code and restrict other user to wait till the end of processing of first user.

To achieve this functionality we have use concept of lock object in abap.
There are two function module available to which is Enqueue for set lock and Dequeue for release lock.
