The newly elected European Parliament called Viktor Orban's visit to Russia 'a blatant violation of treaties and the common foreign policy of the EU.' This is stated in the final declaration. At the same time, the so-called 'Putins faction' appeared in the European Parliament - it opposes anti-Russian acts. It brought together Russian-sponsored politicians, xenophobes, opponents of LGBTQ+ and feminism.
