Who is Mahidevran Sultan?

Mahidevran was one of the most influential women in the Ottoman Empire. She was a concubine of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, who ruled from 1520 to 1566. She gave birth to his eldest son, Şehzade Mustafa, who was a potential heir to the throne. Mahidevran was also known as Gülbahar, meaning “spring rose”, because of her beauty and elegance. She wore colorful and richly embroidered dresses, with jewels and flowers in her hair. She had a fair complexion, with dark eyes and eyebrows. She was proud and ambitious, and she had a strong bond with Suleiman and Mustafa.
However, Mahidevran also faced many challenges and enemies. She had a bitter rivalry with Hürrem Sultan, another concubine who became Suleiman’s legal wife and the mother of his other sons. Hürrem Sultan used her influence to undermine Mahidevran and Mustafa, and to secure the succession for her own sons. In 1553, Mustafa was executed by Suleiman on the accusation of treason, which broke Mahidevran’s heart. She was sent away from the palace, and lived in exile until her death in 1581. She was buried in the Muradiye Complex in Bursa, next to her son’s tomb. Mahidevran was a remarkable woman who left a lasting mark on Ottoman history.

Mahidevran never achived the title of “sultana” because the only way a concubine could get the rank of the sultana is to either be Haseki or Valide which Mahidevran was neither
I would also like to add that she didnt had strong bond with Suleyman only with Mustafa
She was just another concubine of Suleyman, Sulyeman only showed love to his legal wife Hurrem as that can be seen by many laws he broke for Hurrem
