Adding TOUCHSCREEN to the MacBook Air M1!

For those who haven't seen it: This can now be achieved using a Luna Display dongle, which notably is a more elegant solution. I've also realized that the solution I found does currently have a click limit, and after a certain number of clicks you have to restart your MacBook. (Not ideal) I've got some other great ideas coming up soon though, so keep an eye out!

I have several touch monitor, but I have an old macbook air and the only one that works with touch is one that gets touch via usb A and video via hdmi.... (the others are USB C monitors...) The touch experience on the air is pretty bad, touch works but scrolling doesn't (while on windows it's perfectly fine). You can also try duet display and see how it works (it's not free, but not too expensive)

Great video! I appreciate your tenacity in trying to solve one of the glaring problems with MacBooks that Apple refuses to acknowledge. Having to carry around both an Ipad and a MacBook every day is getting tiresome. Apple needs to get off of their high horse and fucking make a touchscreen MacBook already. Microsoft figured this out 10 years ago. Apple is now on the hind-titty.
