I was able to do this with a cheaper deck of lower quality and today I got a better deck. The new cards are so smooth and slippery that I have to kinda learn it again :D

Tip
Put your left thumb across the right side.
If you do this you can get the bridge without pushing it in 2cm.

It seems like I am not the only one here with the same problem. My question to Lotusinhand, is how does one practice this so that they can riffle through ONE card at a time. A lot of us here are riffling sometimes upwards of 8 or 9 clumps of cards at a time, I constantly seem to clump at least 4 or 5 cards at a time consistently and I always start with 2 card clumps right off the bat. I can't riffle one at a time. Is there a tip or practice method to improve our control of the cards so we are able to rifle one at a time. Also I have much less clumping issues, when doing a riffle shuffle with my hands braced against a table, free floating in the air like in this video is much more difficult.

Unfortunately, this is not an easy thing to teach. It is very knacky and requires even pressures from both right and left thumb and forefinger. I have tried so many times it seems like a cruel joke when I see someone else do it so easily. I'm a four and five card clumper, nothing seems to work. The faro and overhand are the only ones I can do. Strangely, I can dribble the cards one card at a time but not this riffle shuffle. Happy clumping.

every human being on the planet can do this on a table it's in the hands standing in the air as demonstrated which makes it extremely difficult

Horrific you show fingers opened in the grip! After the thumb and after out. Both correct but not explained. I am a beginner but I can do better!😅
