Thanks for the video. It was very informative and confirmed the workflow I figured I would have to use when I have to backup my managed WordPress myself.

Nice informative video. Even though with Managed Worldpress they are suppose to back up everything for you for 30 days, nothing beats having a copy on your hard drive! I strongly recommend having spent about 30 yours redoing my website after GoDaddy lost my content of my previous non-managed website.

This is a slow way to do it for large sites.

Instead, take advantage of zip files. Go into cPanel, go to the file browser, navigate to where the HTML is, then select "COMPRESS". Select your compression time (zip, if you like), then download the zip files. Goes 100 fimes faster than downloading each file (there's tens of thousands of files) using FTP.

Hello,
Thank you for the video! It was very informative. However I have an issue with my website. I accidentally deleted my sql db from my live website & it stopped working. I tried to upload it again (I have a backup) but it shows only my footer and says 404 error. Also I cannot login into my wp-admin. Says my username/mail does not exist. I also have another full backup (made with go daddy backup wizard just a few days before). Do you have a tutorial or could you please help on how to put it up and running again. I don't know why is there a problem & not showing the full website if I uploaded the same sql I practically deleted. I am new to all of this so any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!!
