The Seoul Digital National Industrial Complex is a national industrial complex in Guro-gu and Geumcheon-gu, Seoul. It was built as an export industrial corporation over 10 years from 1964 to 1974, and was called Guro Industrial Complex at the time of its construction. In the 2000s, as the industrial structure changed and the number of high-tech industries increased, the name was changed to the current name. The part that belongs to Guro-gu is also called Guro Digital Complex, and the part that belongs to Geumcheon-gu is also called Gasan Digital Complex. Nearby is Guro Digital Complex Station on Line 2.

Guro Industrial Complex is an important industrial complex in Korea, and it began to be created as an export industrial complex in the 1960s, and about 110,000 people were engaged in it in the late 1970s. From the 1980s, it was changed to a heavy industrial complex led by chaebols, and in 1985, the Guro Alliance strike occurred due to poor working conditions at the time.

Meanwhile, as the industrial structure changed, the number of companies that were moving in decreased one by one. In 1995, the total number of workers at the Guro Industrial Complex decreased to 42,000. In the 2000s, the name was changed to the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex as it began to be fostered as an IT high-tech industrial complex led by the government. At this time, fashion towns such as Orange Outlet and Hyosung C&T were established at the place where the Guro Alliance strike started, and apartment-type factories such as the 8th Daeryung Techno Tower were built at the place where Gap-eul Electronics was located, and apartment-type factories of small and medium-sized enterprises such as manufacturing, information technology, and logistics industries are also built due to various benefits supported by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Currently, most of the complexes are filled with high-rise buildings, and high-rise apartment-type factories are built in complexes 2 and 3.

As a result, the industries where workers mainly work have also changed from manufacturing to publishing, video, broadcasting and communications, and information service industries, but according to the Hankyoreh newspaper, they are still suffering from irregularities, low wages, and long hours of work, no different from the past. Kim Sung-yoon, the future secretary-general of the Workers' Rights Search Project in southern Seoul, testified, "Manufacturing production workers are hard to find outside the building at all during lunchtime. Most of the workers have solved both their jobs and meals inside the building, so they can't see the sunlight."[3] In particular, after the IMF crisis, the banchers who had been concentrated in Teheran-ro and other places gathered in Guro and other places due to a surge in land prices.
