Lavatools Javelin Thermometers

Atlanta Grill Company is now carrying the Lavatools Javelin Pro Duo and Javelin and Javelin Pro Duo instant read probe thermometers. I wanted to give you a quick glance at these thermometers and show you their speed and accuracy in a hot water bath test.

Had my Javelin last me 6 years it just finally kicked the can today the screen failed. Out of its 6 years it saw extensive use and still only had a battery change 1 time. I will definitely be buying another one and will probably step it up to the Pro now! They have gained a lifetime customer with a quality product!

I bought one just a little over a year already went out when I opened it up. It only reads -58°. I would’ve hoped it last longer than a year. Mines the javelin pro duo.

Lava tools thermometers are the shit, I have been using the same lava tools thermo for 6 years in a professional environment it is used at least 20 times per day. What I like is how sturdy it is .

Don't buy this thermometer pen if you expect to have Lavatools cover the warranty if it fails during the warranty period. You must first submit a request online to state why your thermometer should be covered under warranty. The reason does not matter because they will not respond to your message or email! This company touts "Designed in the U.S. and made in China". It is owned by a Chinese company in Honk Kong. The Javelin is overpriced and lacks more robust features of less expensive thermometer pens, such as the Inkbird 1HT-1S, which has an actual warranty.
