I'm older so my favorite memory goes back to 1992 I think. I was playing with my Raiders against Denver controlled by a friend from school in a room full of Bronco fans. I had stopped playing on the high school team due to a back injury and these dudes gave me a lot of crap about it. Well that day I shut them all up and even though it was only a video game they somehow seemed to decide I still loved football even though I wasn't on the team anymore. It was a good day.

Madden 93 Championship Edition on the Genesis with all the legendary teams, the ambulance running over the team to get one guy to the hospital. Classic.

My favorite memory for madden is 06 and 07 playing franchise mode with my high school buddies. 2-3-4 teams at a time. Head to head. Drafts. Trades. Staying up ALL NIGHT drinking orange soda and making quesadillas playing madden. Those were the days.

All I’m interested in is whether or not I’ll like the single-player aspect of this game. As a returning 46-year old player, I don’t have a lot of time to start dedicating to this again. I stepped away from gaming for work reasons so I haven’t played this game in 10 years or so. Therefore, I’m not one of these people nitpicking every minor detail and taking the fun out of it. I’m not a big online gamer, either. I simply want to know if I should have a tough time playing it or is it relatively easy to pick up and run with. This is why I’ve stayed away from College Football 25 so far. I heard it’s a bit more involved. I’m guessing since I haven’t played this in so long, I should love it. Fingers crossed.

My favorite memory was when Madden 06 first came out on PS2. Spending so much time randomizing the parent DNA that made up your attributes and talent. Getting to experience this career mode for the first time, not only in Madden but also NCAA at the time with the Heisman mode. Now we're getting something similar after 19 years with each game putting more emphasis on their respective career modes. Nostalgic.
