Madden NFL 25 is shaping up to be the biggest refresh an entry has received in a long time. Thanks to the renewal of EA’s college football license, players can transfer their Road to Glory character from College Football 25 to Madden 25’s Superstar mode, giving the game much-needed role-playing potential.

There’s also a host of new minigames, some transferred directly from EA College Football 25, such as the fan-favorite Pocket Passer minigame.

Gauntlet is a fun mode that adds bosses and challenges within the overarching minigame mode, injecting new fun into the game. Realistic physics have been overhauled across the board this year, with a complex BOOM Tech physics package applied to offense and defense. Some of these claims from EA have already been proven false, including crowd noise being upgraded and new pregame cutscenes are bs. It's simply a different camera angle with the same animations.

I really wish the video game indusrty was held to the same standard in their promises as some of the other industries cuz madden would have the shit sued out of them with their lies.

I always wondered why sports video games have such crappy sound effects. Having worked in the film industry as a sound mixer/boom op, I know the importance of sound. It's about time Madden invested in the dialogue, commentary, sound effects, crowd noises, and chants. It makes a world of difference. It's well worth the effort and expense. Nobody ever talks about sound in video games but it's equally as important as it is in the film industry. Bratty console peasants are always asking for the dumbest things. "I want fancy boots, I want a stadium builder, I want whatever Tolkien would do!" Effing idiots.

CF is not a good game. People are running around the whole field breaking tackles and spinning to death. Game isn’t good all hype. All sports game don’t get significantly better the following year. No matter the sport or maker.

CF may be the ONLY game that gets way better next year bc this years game is close to garbage. Fun to play with friends but not a good game.
