Bethesda Game Studios reveal the Starfield Trailer from in-game alpha footage using the Creation Engine 2 which has been updated since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4 gameplay. Starfield release date confirmed 11.11.22 next year!

Man, for this game to be "worth it" I don't want it to be just an explore uninhabited lands and build settlements/bases. I want there to be life, sentient and otherwise, for us to interact with. I want the game to allow you to live and breath in the world, not just survive in it. I'm thinking something with multiple planets, each with major cities and outposts, and wild areas to venture into. I'm worried the density required for what I want to see won't be possible if they're scaling up to the exploration to be the massive void of space.

I am hoping that, in this game, we will be able to fly our ship from planet to planet and build settlements on each planet, wherever we want. If each planet is its own open world with quests and tons of exploration, I could see this game being amazing. I hope that Bethesda brings back real RPG elements and makes the combat better. I always have faith that they can build a world that is fun/exciting to explore.

18 days before my 38th bday. This is the first time in well over a decade that I will be purchasing a console in order to play a game. The last time was the original Mass Effect and that turned out to be a pretty dam good decision.
