i built and rode top fuel harleys in the late 80's early 90, s.we used a jet can or blled back called a secondary for idle conditions.the secondary had a no restriction pill, and the pop off was set with a leakdown gauge, using springs and shims.we set the throttle plate at about .011 off the injector body floor.then adjusted the barrel valve same as u demonstrated.At that time we used the hilborn 1/2 punp witha a 16% overdrive unit between the pump and the no 3 camshaft.these were 4 cam sportster based lower ends.all our jet cans were enderlee with a 10an feed line on the pump with everything else being 6an.deflector type nozzles over the intake valves, larger nozzle in the rear cylinder, now i'm remembering all this so some of my rambling may be incorrect.great videos as i've always wanted to see how the blower fuel system works.
