2018-19 International Education Conference - PRESS PLAY: Globalizing Your Classroom Through Film

The 11th Annual International Education Conference will explore how educators can utilize films to bring international content into their classrooms. Whether it be narrative features, documentaries, or student-created projects, film can be a powerful tool in demonstrating how a single story can elucidate the larger human condition. Come and learn how film can provide a global lens for your students to examine their world.

This conference is presented by the University of Chicago Center for East Asian Studies, Center for East European and Russian/Eurasian Studies, Center for Latin American Studies, Center for Middle Eastern Studies, International House Global Voices Program at the University of Chicago, Neighborhood Schools Program, and UChicago Engages with support from Title VI National Resource Center Grants from the U.S. Department of Education.
