In this video, we explore eight strange behaviors that may be linked to psychopathy. When you think of the common signs of a psychopath, you immediately picture someone who lacks empathy and lacks remorse or guilt for their actions, and is cunning and manipulative. But today, we focus on some of the less-obvious, but still weird things psychopaths do.

Now, it’s important to note that psychopathy is a complex anti social personality disorder characterized by a range of traits and behaviors that set it apart from other disorders. This video is not meant to be a diagnosis. It’s merely an exploration of some interesting correlations.

I lived with a sadistic psychopath 9 yrs!Every second they try to hurt you, than they turn to you and they pretend they're helping you! What they say is opposite of their actions and vehaviours

There are many, many functioning psychopaths. They have regular jobs, have no desire to hurt anyone however their lack of empathy or not being emotional might give them away. Also most true psychopaths will never admit to it least of all to get attention.

The “psychopathic stare” is definitely a real thing. sociopaths are similar in that they have a lack of empathy and can be very self serving.

I feel like all humans have psychopathic tendencies. Just think of how cruel people were back in high school

People in the comments are going to either claim to be psychopaths and proud of it (flexing) or empaths, and feeling victimized—I enjoyed the comments as much as the video.

I know a full blown psycho. He was my neighbour before I moved. He burned down my house and admitted to it. On a side note he likes to snow plow peoples driveways for free. He got the money for the plow by scamming his insurance company. What a nice guy.

I remember reading a comment from a psychopath, he's harmless but tends to stare at people. He doesn't realize nor understood that it makes people uncomfortable until a friend told him. And he's been working on that. Which is a nice thing.

This is not a good description for psychopaths, The important distinct trait is the lack of empathy and very little or no moral values.

I have a few of these behaviors. I'm always careful to maintain true empathy with those around me so that I don't become a real psychopath.

The number one telltale is a total lack of neurosis. No signs of rumination. Many of these traits are displayed by other cluster B such as the stare ( borderline / narcissism / even PTSD )

Really helpful to know about the lack of sneeze response. I never knew that! So true about the quiet slow speech! Dead giveaway of a manipulation going on!

Speaking slowly and quietly made me think of Javier Bardem’s portrayal of Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men.

Theres someone in my circle I often find staring at me while I'm driving. They'll be in the passenger seat and when I turn my head to say something, I've caught them staring at me. This happens A LOT and it's really starting to p me off. They won't be getting many more lifts.
