Billionaire Elon Musk and 10 members of his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team were temporarily blocked from accessing sensitive data at the Social Security Administration (SSA).

This judge called an outside audit, a fishing expedition? In the real world it's called proper business practices. Every organization needs to be audited regularly. No organization should audit itself. I can't believe I have to State such obvious things.

They never had legal access in the first place. I worked for SSA for 30 years. We were taught that if somebody other than the client or their legal representative came in and demanded access to someone's records, we would question them closely to determine that they had ZERO access to the requested record, then politely show them the door. Anyone from DOGE for sure. And just for the record, SSA has their OWN fraud specialists. I worked with many good ones.
