Adding to #9, if anyone wants to find a mentor, y'all should give ADPList a quick look. There are a lot of design mentors there that can give you guidance for free.

You GOTTA watch Bont, best channel for design. I love all your points, it's spot on for beginners. The big plan is really laid out clean in front of you to get really good at design! If I had one thought to challenge, it would be the step 5! Imho, that can be a trap to go to the same spot as everyone else for inspiration. I believe each designer should have their own archive of digital or physical resources to research. Something that relates to what niche they want to be in, and which helps dive deeper in their specialisation. You mentioned NFT for instance, I think the influence from 90's design visual language, video games, geek culture, Japanese tech, and so on would be more valuable to dive in, than looking at lapaninja for the latest trend. What do you think?

I am just starting my journey and do you think I should learn a framer or the web flow first and what type of client I should focus on now, I thought to maybe start with CRO optimization and landing page building, I have experience in copywriting and email marketing, so I thought maybe I can offer funnel creation as well. Or what type of clients I can serve on Web Flow differently than on Framer (Sorry if I bother you, but just do what you said in Step 9 😁)

Notice how he did NOT mention his facial hair as a clear benefit to his design career. These bearded guys are very sneaky.
