After reading the comments, for those of you who think I'm making stuff up and if you do not believe in the sources here presented and the bibliography at the end, the suggested videos which also contain bibliography, and the works of other authors and researchers, of Óðinn's names that can be found in several sources and that can be translated, aside from the ones given here on this video such as Jálg /Jálkr ("gelding") which appears in 5 different sources and in several kennings, as well as the name Geldnir ("Eunuch"), there's also "Tveggi" ("double" / "Hermaphrodite") which the sources present Óðinn as having both sexes. "Tveggi" appears in the sources: Sonatorrek; Óðins nöfn; Egill Skalla-Grímsson. It's not my fault people don't read the material (or choose to ignore much of the content they don't like). The evidences are there. History has been said and done and created, and whether you like it or not History has already been written, the truth is out there and won't change because of your personal wishes and desires. I'm here to help you and to help rediscovering the historical past. I was under the impression I was speaking to adults. Get a grip over yourselves, control your emotions. Some of you sound like scared little children.

Sometimes I agree with Arith, sometimes I don't, but I still enjoy a lot his content, I love the contant actually. I'm not here today to say what I think of this video, although there's a lot of useful information and all in all I did enjoy it and I don't mind the use of certain modern terms when there's a lack of older terms to describe the same thing. What I want to say is that Arith's videos, and perhaps especially this one, are always filled with hidden information. I think Arith does it on purpose, to test people. Based on many of the comments Arith yet again continuous to be right because, firstly people aren't ready and secondly they are so focused on their prejudices and the things that bothers them that they fail to see the bigger picture, they fail to see the details out there, which may be hidden but people are not paying attention at all to the extra information. I always feel like Arith is Loki in a positive sense, because he comes and goes and always changes perception and things are never the same again. Like, stirring the pot and everything changes after that, and those who are more attentive to the hidden details have much to gain. When help is given but is not accepted there's nothing else we can do but sit and watch civilization destroy itself.

Could the enclosure also be related to the womb and these are maybe reproductive and reincarnation themes? The 9 days being 9 months and such.

Didn’t Sami women have a history of being magical or witches?
Curious how this interacts with Norse magic

An interesting find and discussion. In the current period of manifest lunacy one can easily forget that the concept of transcending the boundary of the sexes is actually as old as history.

You certainly know the sources better than I do, but I think being "Transgender" and being a "Hermaphrodite" are two different things. A transgender by my understanding is one who identifies as the opposite sex and who changes their bodies to match how they feel whereas a Hermaphrodite is one born with the genitals of both genders. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also, I belive the gods would be asexual unless there was a need or desire to have relations with mortals in which case they can choose which gender to become. Why would gods need to procreate in the same way that mortals do? Respectfully!

After coming back to this, I think two years later and relisten to it. There are so many discoveries I have found, and what I’m listening to.

But the biggest one is the way narrative can control representation . Fascinating

I am not certain why there are so many people getting completely upset over the use of the term transgender. Particularly when the person giving the presentation is not an American or a native English speaker. The word is in fact a word. Trans. Gender. They are what they are. And any sort of negative connotations that any of your viewers are getting from this are a problem of their own specific societies and have nothing to do with Trans. Gender. as it is actually meant to be used in a literal sense...?

Patience and respect for an Elder of 34, if that's the case people should really REALLY pay attention to what I say since I am 52 this December

I have always been fascinated with this aspect of Odin and how little it is discussed. It is refreshing to hear an unbiased account of where it pops up in the source materials and the additional interpretations you give. This culture was edited by Christianity and again by Nazis and then by white supremacists, so the core fan base tends not to like to talk about this part of it.

This could be Odin. Also it could be his wife Frigg, sagas mentions that she's allowed sitting in Odin chair. And she like Freya practises Seidr & spinning threads.

That he did not steal what belonged to women but could only obtain it by becoming a woman himself is quite remarkable for a patriarchal society.

13:03 I think this is a good place to add Terrance McKennas works in here about psychedelic mushrooms being of a feminine energy, and also how the soul that we are like our human body’s are the vessel but our true selves are genderless or rather all genders as we conceive the term in modern times, like as a spirit comes to being in earth we dedicate to a gender male or female but the soul has access to all the spectrum of emotions and feelings. This all relates to seidr and shamanistic practices with the mushroom. The mead of knowledge all of it, is connected to what I believe a source that obviously contains everything and we as humans are bits and pieces of the whole being expressed and we have work here in the physical realm to do, and it goes hand and hand with divination, almost like a relay loop. These are just my thoughts but I’m very interested. I’m a straight married man, but im extremely open minded and expecting of people because I truly take Odin’s actions to heart as a way to navigate myself and conduct myself here on earth, a person searching for knowledge in most cases.

I’ll keep posting my thoughts as I watch your video. People can also reference the man seer in the movie The Norseman for a more physical representation of some of what you talk about so far. It’s my belief as we read that Freya taught Odin seidr magic and it’s a gender fluid practice, sex sometimes is a gender fluid practice, depends on your person likes and what not. Freya sometimes is also considered to be Frigg, Odin’s Wife, so Freya and Odin both claim the dead in battle. The realms of life death gender magic all of it are all stacked on one another and these divine gods and stories are the only remnants of a lost science that is both magic and science and biology and astronomy all at once.

So people should not especially men dismay if they hear Odin did something feminine, FOR ONE he had more balls then any straight dude to do what was probably essential to gain knowledge of how the universe works and how to survive Ragnarok and protect his tribe, much like we all aim to do in real life. So this whole situation is an example of sacrifice, sacrificing your ego to the fullest extent. Odin sacrificed so much we should give him the respect he is deserved and the feminine energy it’s due respect as feminine energy seems to be the more abundant energy in the universe and the realm of magic. It’s like mother and father and baby, just like you said the number 3 and the number 9. All of this is connected, sorry I wanted to comment something of a positive manor because the best thing to do to learn is to listen and ask questions not condemn because of fear.
