All of my Children that are grown now say that this movie is their favorite when they were growing up. They still tell me that every time that it comes on TV they watch it. But I do also❤❤❤❤

Such an all star cast. The 80s were such a great time to live through. Look back at all that occurred. Apple computers were first coming to market, music video channels where what they were founded to be MTV, VH1, THE NASHVILLE NETWORK to show music not reality-based TV. The Space Shuttle was still in use by NASA. The Berlin Wall Fell. And all the talented music artists Michael Jackson, Irena Cara, Kenny Rogers, John Denver, Genesis, Bon Jovi, Laura Brannigan, Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler, Phil Collins, The Pointer Sisters, Bette Midler and all the Rock and Roll hall of fame individuals.

OMG❣️ Lol My late husband & I bought my parents a VHS? player...& He went to Blockbusters & got this movie because I had 4 brothers...he knew it was about kids growing up & my baby brother I raised was there, our son... little girl...we were active in our church, but my parents? SBC & I don't mean Southern Brewing Company! Baptists! OMG... If I had rented The video there's no telling what they would have said to me. I'm sure they would have jerked the tape out and I would have had to pay for it and you know back then on my lands I whispered over at my husband. Like what the hell were you thinking? I was reading Box? Whatever cover saw that it was rated R... So he just calmly said I apologize. I didn't realize it would have this kind of language in it, but it is a good story about kids growing up in that day and age and I hope y'all enjoy it. They didn't say much. My mother didn't say much at all but she didn't like my husband for the longest, she liked him about a year before he died and then of course after he died she glorified in everything he had accomplished in his 31 years. But that's the way things go but my Deddy... He was different. He was pretty cool about it, and my sweet baby brother. Not live long. Nothing physically wrong with him when he was born. I just knew he wouldn't be long for this world and I said so. I told my Granny... He loved this movie and was so glad to see it, but I think most of all he was glad he got to watch something like that in his house at that age. Unfortunately he was killed just barely a year after my husband the day after his 20th birthday under extreme circumstances, like as in vehicular homicide manslaughter? Y'all win a bunch of redneck boys throws a bucket of paint on the windshield of a car... That'll do it. It and he was getting ready to move in with the kids and me, he was going to work in the same line as my late husband, he had work with him a couple of Summers after he graduated HS and decided that was it, environmental and geotechnical services. That's what he wanted to do... Unfortunately he made a big mistake and he told my mother so I don't know how his mind was when he was driving. I know he was upset. All I know is they had a big fight that very day because he told me he had to wait till after his birthday to tell her. My Deddy didn't know anything about it... That's life, and this movie hits almost every aspect of a young kid's life. Excellent tribute. I commend you excellent! Thank you so much for sharing it!
