Airpods pro loose lid

Common problem found in airpods pro. Bought a pair from Amazon and Costco. Both have loose lids. Apple recently moved manufacturing from China to Vietnam. My friend has Airpods Pro made in China and it does not have the loose lid issue. Brought it to apple store. They were only able to exchange it to a case that is less loose than my current one. Very disappointed in apple quality. My jabra 75t never has this.

My first gen Airpods did not have this issue at all.

Don't be alarmed friends, I went directly to the Apple Store and they told me that the product itself comes like this, it's normal, you just have to get used to it

I think they are built like that so the hinge can have some breathing space so it won’t snap

I thought mine has problem. Yours is even worse. Just bought USB AirPods Pro 2 a few days ago. Didn’t notice the case lid can move a bit sideways when it closed until now. I thought because I keep it in my jeans pocket with many other stuff which put lots of pressure on the lid. Almost bring it back to the Apple Store until I see your video and all the comments. Still feel abnormal for a brand new apple product.

It’s so that when you drop it it absorbs a bit of the impact

It doesn’t mean anything just don’t play with it to make it worse there is a solution to fix it basically what you have to do is take the AirPods out and put a piece of paper I between the case and if the problem
Is solved then find a sticker about the same thickness of the paper and put it on the inside of the case on the grey part at the back. It should close properly if it doesn’t get a thinner stocker😊

I think this happened to me because I keep taking the case off and putting it back on and that requires a bit of force

Mine is broken I have the same problem and the like two layers of the charging case lid came apart and they won’t go back together anyone have any recommendations because I can get them to ally of the right parts I just can’t get them to fully attach like to stay together

I just got mine from walmart for 200 instead of 250. As soon as I got home and unboxed they were wobbly. The airpods themselves are amazing but I dont know why this is happening?
