If you’ve noticed how Megatron often abuses Starscream in several live-action, things are quite different in Transformers One. Starscream is portrayed as a legendary warrior and a member of the Cybertronian High Guard who chose to operate guerrilla-style on the surface. However, realizing he couldn’t stand against D-16, Starscream was forced to yield. After witnessing D-16’s combat prowess, who would later be known as Megatron, Starscream began supporting him. In fact, he was the first to proclaim, “All hail Megatron.” From that moment on, Starscream became Megatron’s subordinate.

Am I the only one who understood that he wanted to take advantage of Megatron's uprising like a parasite? Even in TF one he seems to support him only when he sees that he will succeed so that he gains a position of power I don't believe that he just accepted the fact that because he is physically stronger he should lead what I understood from the movie is that Starscream still wants to be in power and sideing with Megatron was the best thing he could do at that time to ensure that.

It sucks that we are probably not going to get a Transformers One sequel. I personally love the movie, and have watched it 4 or 5 times since it came out, and saw it in theaters. Unfortunately, a lot of people didn't go see it in theaters, so it is basically considered a flop. So the odds of us getting a sequel are pretty low.
