I absolutely love how they fight, they actually transform while fighting to gain unconventional advantage

The fact that you can see Optimus's inexperience but you can also see how he takes and learns from what he's seeing and trying, just in that one battle alone
And also in the fact that he isn't all amped up and angry when he finally beats them all, just calm but grieved

The way megatron screamed his name was not only really powerful, it also showed how far he's been driven from his calm and collected self, being overrun with rage

You can sense the raw emotion in their fight. One fights to save his planet without killing his former friend and the other fights to force change while cutting ties with his weak past.

Megatron claims the role of leader for himself, while Optimus is given it by others
Megatron physically stands while Optimus falls
Megatron has morally fallen, while Optimus remains morally standing
Optimus claims leadership by actively making strategic calls throughout the movie and giving orders and directions, Megatron claims leadership by literally beating down the previous “leader” until he was either stopped or satisfied

I feel sorry for Optimus. The very first thing he had to do as a Prime was the very last thing he wanted to do at all.

7:00 When Optimus tells Megatron "You have betrayed Cybertron and its citizens" he speaks with his battle mask on. Optimus removes the mask when he says "And you betrayed, me". He speaks the first part as Optimus Prime, but speaks the second part as Orion Pax.

Love how D smiles while holding Megatronus' cog, almost the same way Sentinel smiled when he held the Matrix

I love the detail that Elita the one who always puts down Orion is the only one reaching to save him when he is falling into the core. Deep down she really did like Orion he just frustrated her.
