Why was the stranger made out as the bad guy by the end? Gives the dude a free ride, tells him to watch his tone while he does so, returns his belongings, and gives him $100 to be safe. Guy was a damn saint...

I think the guy might've had schizophrenia or something of the sort, he may have been talking to someone else he was hearing, he was telling you to not scream and yet you weren't, so Richard was probably talking to the voice or person he was hallucinating, I don't think he was dangerous, maybe a little paranoid but he had good intentions.

that driver deserves a damn metal, he probably has a bad past with yelling perhaps with an abusive parent. He realized he was the one in the wrong, apologized, gave the dude 100 bucks, and told him to be safe. not to mention the fact he gave him back his hat. I respect it
