Basic Survival Rule:

For Hitchhikers: take a hitch on a pick up truck only. ride at the back. no matter what happen, you can jump out and run.

For taking up hitchhikers: If you dont have a pick up truck, dont take hitchhikers.

I’m a kind person who has trouble saying “no” to people and I used to live in a very rural area so I’ve picked up hitchhikers a couple of times. Luckily no weirdos!

I once picked up a hitchhiker. The guy was really weird. All of a sudden, he turned to me and said, "Aren't you afraid to pick up a hitchhiker? I could be a serial killer." I looked at him and said "Naw, I'm not worried. What's the chance that there would be two of us in the same place at the same time?"

Hitch hiking is a bad idea, but if you decide to do it, heres some advice, if your carrying a backpack or a duffel bag or purse, always leave it slightly open. That way youll have easy access to a weapon. Be it a knife or a gun

Great Stories NS, I Love ❤️ these kind! As my sister & I hitched hike one ☝️ time only, & the man that picked us up was A Very Evil Bad man, well I opened the passenger side door, & grabbed my sister who was in the middle, & landed on the gravel & we both took off running! This was in Indiana, & lots of woods, we ran & ran & ran some more! We were very Blessed to have gotten away! Neither of us ever put that thumb 👍🏻out again!!!! So Glad for the one’s who Survive that still hitchhike!!!!

Past autumn season my family was gonna planned for going out of town for Thanksgiving visit and the concert, unfortunately I was broke and my siblings have work on Thanksgiving my father thought it's a good idea for him to go by himself (he really wanted to go to the concert) me and my sister convince him not to go because I was concerned if he falls asleep on the road or worse pick up hitchhiker with no good intentions. Gladly he didn't go.

The way the world is today the last thing in the world I plan on ever doing again is picking up any hitchhikers or will I ever hitchhike myself if I can’t take a bus or a plane or a train if my car happens to be out of commission I guess I don’t need to go to the destinations I would want to go to I will just have to wait it out there are too many weirdos and freaks out there today that will get in the car under the pretense of being really nice and then as soon as you head out the where you’re going they turn on you and your life ends up becoming a living nightmare and you can only pray that you come out of it alive
