McGregor wasn't even no.1 at Hull City for much of his time there and even ended up out on loan but he's experienced, vocal and makes big saves when called upon. For all his experiences good and bad, Rangers have ended up with a better goalkeeper second time around.
Joe Hart is capable of making saves that only the top goalies in world football can.
His mindset and getting a settled back 4 in front of him will dictate how this goes.

No getting away from it, it's a gamble. And I say that as someone who has generally liked Hart over the years. Great shot-stopper on his day, and I didn't actually think he was that bad with the ball at his feet, as much as he's not a Pep goalie.

No idea what we're getting with him these days. You would hope Celtic is just the place to relight his fire, but it's not exactly an inspiring place at the moment. HAS to be better than Bain and Barkas, but who knows.

He will defo do a job for us but it’s crucial we already start investing/recruiting in Hart’s successor likewise in every position to get us out this mess

The thing is with Goalkeepers is that if they look after themselves in a fitness level, good Goalkeepers can play up until they are 40 years old. And he is a good professional player I think he will do well and it will give us time to get prepared and look at getting a Very Good younger International Keeper and then if he is Interested in 3 years time, stay with the Club and be a very good very experienced Keeper Coach and help bring our own youngsters on.

I can't see how this is a risk at all 1mill and way way lower wages than he was on at spurs I honestly thought we would be paying him 20k upwards Barkas was 5 million and he doesn't even communicate with his defenders and couldn't catch a cold I think this is a pretty good signing at least Hart will be vocal to his defence.
