EVERYTHING QUAIL! INCUBATING, HATCHING, BUILDING A-FRAME QUAIL COOP & MOVING OUTSIDE!

Hey everyone! Today we are going through our ENTIRE quail raising process so far! We show the process of getting the eggs (from myshire farm) incubating them, hatching them (on livestream) building their A-Frame quail cage, and moving them from their small brooder to their new cage outdoors!

Questions:

We got quail for their eggs. They lay MUCH sooner than chickens

Our incubator is from Amazon and its no longer available at the link we purchased it. It is one made in China and there isnt a brand on it. It looks just like this one so i assume its the same

We did not use any plans for this build. We just decided on a size that we thought would work well (we have 15 quail) and did an 8x12 a-frame. We just winged it and are not professional builders, but did our best with YouTube knowledge.

I could cry a million tears. 😭😍 Our sweet angel babies are so big!! Also, EAT was the only one who was really dark after they hatched, so I'm just gonna assume that the darkest one is EAT. No idea who is who for the rest of them. 😂 I'm such a proud Real Dad!! 😍😭

From one quail mama to the next, you guys did a great job! I'm super jealous of their coop. It's beautiful. If I can offer one word of advice for next time, it would be to put something grippy down on the bottom of their incubator before lockdown, like paper towels or nonslip drawer liners. It will keep their legs from sliding around on the plastic bottom, which will help prevent spraddle leg. But in some instances, they develop it anyways. You guys did GREAT with using the tape to straighten her out. So proud of you guys and super happy we get to go on this quail journey together!
