What Makes a Good Mario Party Board?

We've all been there: bored to death and not even close to the end of the game. What's it take for a Mario Party board to keep us engaged? Let's crunch it out.

Came back to this video a few years later and I still love how you break down Waluigi's Island. These minute decisions that can go entirely unnoticed by the player have such a drastic impact on whether or not a board is fun, and you highlighted it beautifully. In my opinion, Mario Party 3 is really where they started to get their footing on designing boards. Each board in 3 sticks to a unique design and gameplay theme in a way I really have come to appreciate as I look back on all the older titles. Great video :)
