Gone are the days when you actually did SOMETHING to speed up the PC. These "tips" are just what you should be doing to use Windows 10 normally.
How about some good registry hacks like in the good old days when hardware was wanting? I remember spending days looking up registry hacks for stabilising Windows ME - and they actually worked. Hacks for speeding up your internet connection, speeding up the interface, speeding up the start, etc. These were the hacks us old timers are expecting. I guess Windows must run pretty much like my Android phone now - and should come with a disclaimer - "Don't even try - there is nothing users can enhance by digging under the hood...".
The tips everyone provides now do nothing for any modern computer. I'm glad I dual boot Linux because with that I can at least tinker knowing it will be fun.
