Well, lets call it a two times two minute tuesday. It was just too important to introduce speed aswell, when we're talking about bank shots.

Everybody is just trying to learn these lessons. I'm just amazed about the way he gets the cue ball @ 03:08

You are an excellent teacher. Some people know what to do but they don't know how to share that information adequately.

It's interesting that using the location of the diamonds instead of the reflection line that is slightly less than a radius from the rail causes the angle to be a little short, which counteracts the slight amount of widening from a true reflection of most rails. That's why the system works so well in practice.

Great video sir. I have been studying this banking system for a week now. You have helped me understand it better.

can also use left/right spin to open/close the angle. spin transfer to object ball and it makes a huge difference when rebound from rail. the lesson here is first reference point for medium speed center hit only.

I will be watching this again when I have time because I have seen when opponents have missed banks by shooting too hard, I think this will help me understand why and help me know what I need to do when I have to shoot a bank hard to continue the run. Thanks.

Most tables do not have markings on the cushion. You also have to adjust for the cushion not responded as you expect, ie the cushion is softer in places. You simply have to adjust to the environment.

I watch a lot of your videos for pool insights. However for the One-Rail Bank shot (that you posted a few hours ago), there is a simpler way. It involves the intersection of two pool sticks. If you are interested in my method (I read it in a book over twenty years ago), reach back.

Bank shots are my nemesis. Sometimes I make them and sometimes I don't. For the most part it looks like I know what I am doing, but to be honest I am only guessing. I will practice this the first chance I get.

I'm inventing a cue stick with a calculator in the handle and a little slide rule and a protractor that slips out of the bottom. I hit a lot of banks consistently but on 'feel'. No doubt this method is spot on and would improve my game... but it gives me a headache just thinking about it. I watched a vid with Mike Massey on banks and I swear he could have made A's in calculus if he'd ever taken the course.
