The country lost when Bernie lost. He has been yelling from the rooftops his entire career about this!

We can't do anything about it as long as half the country keeps voting against their own interests. Middle class Americans voting to give Billionaire's tax cuts, dreaming that some day it will trickle down to them.

This country can’t be run like a business. People don’t get that.

People are too scared to speak up. They fear losing their livelihoods if they criticize the corporations.

I pledge compliance to the flag, of the corporate state of America. And to the oligarchy, for which it stands, one nation, under the New York stock exchange, divisible depending on political convenience, with liberty, and a flexible definition of justice for all who can afford it. 🇺🇸

You are 100% correct. We need to pass laws to stop this- but that gets harder as it is benefiting those in power!!

God bless you, Bernie. Who will speak for us when he’s gone?

This is our BIGGEST problem, it affects everything else - our rights, our elections, our pay, benefits. It has to change. We have 2 classes, the rich and poor. The middle class is gone.

I don't think most people understand just how bad the "Gilded Age" was for the working class.

The balance of power is becoming even more lopsided than it was then, and we just elected their favorite stooge.

Lets hope that they don't go after some of the basic worker rights that we've all come to expect, like the 40 hour work week or weekends. It is funny to me that other ACTUALLY civilized countries are looking to reduce the work week duration while it is not outside the realm of possibility that here we will be increasing it AND repealing child labor laws...
