Seoul is home to some of Korea's best Street Food and being vegan doesn't mean you necessarily have to miss out! Come eat with me as we explore Myeong-Dong, Gwangjang and Tongin markets and find all the vegan-friendly options!!! Everywhere else we ate in Seoul was a specifically vegan or vegetarian restaurant and getting street food the main time I was very grateful for having learnt a bit of Korean before our trip. This is so awesome. I have a couple of friends who lived in Korea who said it was SUPER unvegan. In China I found it was fairly easy to find vegan street food, but not always possible. In Japan, where I live now, at festivals and such it's not TOO hard to find SOMETHING, but not often this many options.

For me one of the most challenging vegan obstacles in Korea is fish. It’s hard to tell sometimes whether or not some savory foods were made with fish sauce, fish stock, shrimp jeot, fish-flavored soy sauce, etc… it hides in a lot of foods!

The strawberrys bis only small cos they are out of season in Korean right now. Most of the time they are huge.
