I only plugged it in to something else and it worked..

The HDMI switch worked for me but when NO SIGNAL showed on the screen I realized I also had to go to INPUT and switch to the corresponding HDMI selection there. Voila...fixed! Thank you!

It could also be that your power chord is not the right electric output. You may be matching an 9v with a 12v tv.

Negative. I have an Insignia Amazon Fire TV.

My screen flickered while turning it on. That never happened before. It looked fine after that. I let it play the home screen while I looked at my phone. I looked up after a few moments and saw it looked dim, then it turned off. I assumed this was a power saving feature as this has occurred before. It goes dark after leaving the home screen idle for too long.

I restarted my TV and the red power light was blinking. I had never seen this happen before. There was no picture, but there was audio.

I tried everything in your video. I tried to open the default menu. Nothing works. I'll leave it unplugged for for a day and try again tomorrow.

My TV can turn on with remote or Manually but the screen will flash and then go black, can you help??

The 2nd one worked. But you can't just replace the batteries. You have to remove the batteries. Hold the power button 30 seconds...that worked
