Europe; Very difficult. Every country has its own rules and laws about going of tarmac.
1. Germany, just two bundeslander allow more of the tarmac driving as most states. Ask locals of me.
2. France, is more open to of tarmac travelling. However, not all information given by wikiloc or such is totally correct. Ask Local OB members.
3. Switzerland not very sure, but I think a nog go. However, it is a very beautiful country
4. Austria. I really dont know.
5. Luxembourg, is a no go. Beautiful, but no of tarmac travel
6. Belgium, no of tarmac travel. Ardennes are very nice.
7. The Netherlands. Ask me in person. Lots of possibilities but we have to be very very careful. More and more is closed the last years.

Something to do during this time is to test out some gear with your kids in the house. They will get a kick out of it, new tent or whatever.

the female human cohabitant that is in your videos, is impossibly beautiful, and needs more screen time!
Her input is also very valuable! A female take on this is awesome, and she nails it!

This is a pretty cool video. Prepping where and how to get there is something I need to spend more time on for sure. I spend more time prepping and doing upkeep on my TJ than planning. Time to make some changes. Thanks

BIG THING ON BLM land on national forest service maps, the BLM will section off areas on the outside borders and mark the full interior as BLM for the online accessible data as they do not have the full picture on the national registry, HOWEVER there is still a lot of Private land islands peppered throughout that area and you have to go to the local field offices to get the actual map data for the private lad island locations you are not allowed to cross into. I know from having to enforce this that lot of hunters get pegged for poaching on private land and trespassing charges because they rely on the national registry maps alone which had private land flagged as Public access by the BLM without checking in at the regional field office before going out to a location.
