Just got a small raised bed container and waiting on my tomato plants to arrive. I was so glad to get the tip about removing the bottom leaves, now I'm all ready! Thanks so much for your very informative videos. I love your enthusiasm for gardening and your commitment to your vegan lifestyle.

if you lay down your tomatoes horizontally for 3 days they will bend up, then snip off the first 6 leafs from the ground and plant them horizontally with the bend above the ground you will make the plant root over a much larger peace of the plant [a bigger root system more jeald] and if the ground is mulched and in the ground is put away a diaper the ground is always moist and you don't have to water so much, an old trick from a dutch farmer, to you . much fun

Just wondering if you have enough iron without meat in your diet. I heard it's hard to get enough iron as a vegan. You sounded winded. Thank you for the gardening tips!

Having to rebuild my beds this year because maple roots invaded. I had to come up with a raised floor in the raised bed, LOL. I start mine very early to have 2+ feet of stem to root, and lay them sideways. I get very healthy plants this way, and if there is a stout branch, I'll leave it, as it will grow into its own plant from that strong root system.

Have you ever tried growing carnivorous plants before? You can't eat them, but if you think you're ready, get some. I have my own collection. They are super fun to grow!

Nowhere in this video does he say how deep the raised bed garden should be.

My tomato seedling seem to be dying very slowly, right after development of the first true leaves. This happened last year too.
I transplanted some of them too early but some were not transplanted... And seem to be dying in their original environment. I did leave then outside when the temperature wasn't too warm. Not sure what's wrong. Any ideas how to save them?
