I’m three days older than Jesus and have been practicing magic for more than 40 years. 🤣 That being said, I’m so glad your videos actually teach people that there is no right or wrong in the craft. I also love that in your videos, you let young witches know everyone’s magical journey is different. I, too, think that books are good as references and based on the writers experiences, not some ancient law handed down by some mysterious witches council. 😂 Another great video! Thank you for sharing.🥰🌈🤍

As a non binary agnostic person who also only had wicca resources at the beginning of my journey and was totally not into that version of the craft- I am so grateful I kept looking around to find a practice that works for me. I am also super grateful there are people like you out there sharing this so it's easier for others

"What's hanging or not hanging between your legs" LMAO. I adore you, girl. I laugh OUT LOUD for real so many times in your videos. Your charisma game is strong. Please never stop making content. I'm sure it's not always easy to be this positive but you need to know, it affects others and affects me. I struggle with severe anxiety and panic attacks and I feel SO happy and calm when i watch your videos. That is so hard for me to find...bless you, babe!

I am a solitary beginner witch and I love what you say in the video. I don't follow any strict rules regarding using certain herbs for certain things....etc...I just follow my instincts and it actual works well for me. I am clumsy, messy, irrational and often fickle in following certain steps. So i love how I can make my own rituals as I go and still connect with the Universe's energy.

I’m so excited to be on this magical path in life, and becoming a green witch, it’s all I could ever ask for. And today a made some candles with herbs, it really clears my mind and makes me feel good 🌿

Being a witch is something I treasure, I love that it can help protect us, it gives us something to do and it can even bond us and help us relate! I could go on and on about how amazing it is, and I’m truly glad I chose this lifestyle, and I hope people know that being a witch is fun, magical and exciting ✨thanks for being here and sharing what you know about this magical thing called witchcraft, I love hearing what you have to say! And thank you for making a safe space for me and so many witches and non witches. Happy witching!

It is so interesting to realize that I have been a witch for my entire life without being aware of what it was. It was always in me, the wonder, the curiosity, the questioning...it all adds up. It feels like a safe place.
Thanks for sharing your insights.

They are called blinders. And yes they are to keep the horses from getting distracted and focused on following the handler's orders.

I love your videos, they are so down to earth and relatable. I too could barely get my parents to buy stuff for me. Wiccan rules and rituals made it very hard for me to practice. And honestly it never sat well with me. Sadly that was all I could find at a younger age.

I struggle with the thoughts of deity (thanks to my Christian upbringing). Part of me wants to believe and part of me thinks I'm a fool. I think I'd be more comfortable foregoing any deities and just going with what can be proven, science! So yeah, I lean towards your way of witchcraft. It's nice seeing someone else who practices in such a way and ALSO talks about eliminating the feminine/masculine energy stuff. It's just energy. No need to give it a gender.

I love this so much. Side note, I want to go to that retreat so badly. I literally just moved so I'm broke af. And I know you'll be busy with your babies (hope you're doing well btw), but I hope this isn't the only opportunity to do this. I would love nothing more than to hangout with you and other witches. Also, I wouldn't mind helping out with the food (I'm a chef and I'm very good with dietary restrictions).

I have been practicing for a while but did not identify myself as a witch until recently. I love trying different things and not limiting myself to one way. I love going to the thrift store and have found many treasures there. Love your videos because you show the magic of the practice with the tools you have available to you. Your baking segments, chefs kiss. ❤️

Yes! This is so accurate. I too was put off by the need for tools, specific tools, even certain herbs are difficult to source and can cost soooo much money. I wish I had someone in my life to tell me it was okay to just skip that part until later.

Haha! “Crotch Goblin” cracked me up!! Thank you for making these videos educational as well as hilariously enjoyable to watch! I love your sense of humor! It definitely sounds like mine, which is probably why I like yours! 😂 Anywho, keep making these wonderful videos! They are definitely informative and I appreciate the work you put into making them! ☺️

So many of these are things that I wish I had known as well. When I was learning, the witches around me had so many boxes and strict lines between things. Thankfully, I pushed against a lot of them because I was taught to question literally everything, but it took a long time to break a lot of those lessons in my head. You do you. I don't get into numerology which is hysterical, because I live with a witch who loves that stuff. One of the things I wished someone had told me or I learned as a kid was to trust my instincts. I have found as an adult they are right more than they are wrong. I've tried to get myself away from Wicca-based things (ex: researching the older holidays vs the modern ones (Jol vs Yule)).

This was a great video and I think the big takeaway is as you said: There is no right or wrong way. Honestly? As a teen learning witchcraft... I probably did a lot of things that others would say were way wrong or not meant for a beginner. It taught me a lot and I really think sometimes dropping yourself into the deep end can be good so long as you know how to get yourself out of it.

I love this video! I literally wish I could blast it from the witchcraft community radio station lol. I am just now at 36 years old learning to “do me”. I’m getting out of the habit of looking up what other people do, and embracing what I think I should do, what works for me, what I like. And I have to tell you, it’s been working brilliantly for me. You said this beautifully, and I’m going to save this video so that I can come back to it when I feel like I’m losing myself. And you said it, intention is everything…. There’s no need to have all these expensive special tools and things like that, it can be very simple💜

I remember when I was first starting out, I went to the local magic supply shop, and the woman running the place was very kind and helpful with her advice. She told me a lot of the things I was already doing in daily life sounded like magical workings on their own. She also looked me right in the eye and said “You don’t need any of this stuff we sell here to be a capable and powerful witch. Everything you already need to be successful is already inside you. All this stuff is just decoration to a practice that is all your own.” It really gave me the confidence to pursue magic, and to this day, I love the personalization of the craft. It truly is something you can craft for yourself, no matter whether you use a lot of materials or nothing at all. 😊

I'm really learning to let go of being so dogmatic and making sure I don't get stuck in only doing things one way. For example I used to get caught up getting all the "proper" ingredients for a spell but I'm starting to shift that thinking. I realized that the reason I practice is to connect with and honour the natural world and it's not really honouring the natural world to contribute to harmful practices like buying ingredients that are becoming threatened due to over harvesting. This was first brought to my attention with the sage and palo santo debate which I'm sure most of us are now aware of. I've done more research and learned that many incense plants are in the same boat like frankincense, myrrh and copal. I'm now shifting to doing my best to grown and sustainably harvest my own local resins and plants and making my own incense cones which is very satisfying and I'm finding a beautiful way to get out in the natures and explore for ingredients. I also feel like ingredients you grown and or gather yourself just feel more magical somehow, possibly it's just the smug satisfaction factor I don't know but either way it feels lovely!

As a young witch, your videos are really resonating with me and showing me that there is no right or wrong way. You are one of the most unbiased and informative witches I have come across online. I love your style! Thank you!

I LOVE this video! Thank you for saying what has been needing to be said. When I started practicing, all I had to learn from were 'those' books and, while those books are a good source for some things, there were other things that never quite felt right to me. Such as, I don't cast circles - which seems to shock a lot of Pagans.😂 I've always believed that being a witch means being close to and revering/tending nature and the earth we live on and formal ritual circles just don't feel natural to me. But that's just me being me of course. It took me a few years to realize that it's ok to be myself in witchcraft and I think that's the key thing: If you're going to be yourself (in society) by being a witch, then (within witchcraft) you should be yourself as well, by practicing witchcraft in the way that is most natural for You - not by practicing what someone else says is the 'right/wrong way'. Thank you Becca, for creating a place where like-minded people can gather and share their knowledge and experiences. Peace and blessings to all.

Same here.. Witchcraft and Wicca was so strong in my early days and there were also rumors of men leading those covens and (luckily) sceptical as I was I decided not to join because I was 13 years old and you would never know what will happen... I love to be here, love this channel, it makes everything so relaxed and Thank you!

Absolutely LOVED this video!!! As a teenaged witchling, I too had to make due with limited accessibility to EVERYTHING, including books!! I slowly developed my magick by listening to my intuition. To hear you say all of the above was balm to my soul, as the information explosion, via the internet and soooo many new books (which I love) saturated my consciousness, I began to question my practice. For my practice is simple enchantment of daily acts and focusing my intentions through very basic magical actions. I think that what has happened is that the millions of witches, many that developed their craft alone or in smaller groups, are communicating their millions of different developed practices. As no two snowflakes are the same, no two witches practice the same - and amen to Thank you!!
