I nearly had a heart attack during the Force Awakens because when Starkiller Base fired on the New Republic central leadership, I assumed they meant Coruscant. A quick Google search afterward put my mind at ease.

EDIT: Just learned that J.J. Abrams originally wanted to blow up Coruscant but was stopped when pretty much everyone told him how bad of an idea that was.

I don't care what anybody says I think new Star Wars movies should be based legends or atleast the old republic era. They seem to have more cooler stories characters and battles.

If Earth has been in the outer rim of the unknown regions this entire time, when all of that multi-hundred-thousand years of war, space faring existence, old lived-in tech, and the Force finally reach us, we're going to feel REALLY left out of the party. Imagine if something like this is going on in our galaxy right now -- has been going on for millennia, -- and we're just over here in the corner picking our noses and finger painting on the walls without the slightest clue.

Ah the Legions of Lettow and the First Schism. That is definitely one event in Star Wars I want to see more of when Star Wars Legends gets continued as its own separate continuity.
