I made a trip to the remote off grid log cabin to sled in some chairs, flour, rice, and do some camp chores. I will be back in a few days and will primarily be living here for the winter. #outdoors #diy #homesteading

I swear Kyle is like a reincarnated man from the early 1900s. Nobody in their 20s builds cabins like this! Very impressed I’m in my early 30s and built one cabin in Montana, and in the spring will build another in Alaska. Love the videos!

You always thank us for watching at the end of your videos. I'd like to thank you for creating the content worth watching! Kudos to you both for always producing great videos! I sit and watch them with my springer Sammy and then we can't help but to get off our asses and get outdoors!!😂🤣
Again, thank you.

Skeeter whining at you has got to be the best feeling. Someone that loves you that much is a treasure!

I love how you shared your meal with skeeter and the kitty allowed you to sit there.

Kyle, I got a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) several years ago in case I'm ever injured or stranded out in the boondocks. It transmits to military search and rescue satellites and will get a signal out through adverse conditions where the personal satellite messenger units (like Inreach or Spot) which use satellite telephone frequencies can fail. If you don't have one it's something you (or Santa Claus) might want to consider. A PLB costs more than a Spot or Inreach but there is no subscription to pay for. I have both a PLB and Inreach but if I had to choose one I'd take the PLB. Thanks for the video Kyle !

Skeeter is still a master scene stealer. Skeeter lifting his leg on the stump while you were cleaning off the solar panels is priceless. :)

I've made numerous comments on people's channels regarding leaving their cabins without "prepping" the firewood supply inside for the next visit. You are one of the FEW smart people that does this. Can't see being cold any longer than absolutely necessary.
This is not rocket science, but then again it may be for some.

I showed your videos on my TV to my family. They think they are great. They are very impressed. My brother that passed away was just like you. Stay warm up there Kyle.

Really like both of your cabins. You've done a great job building both of them. Thanks for sharing your camera on the moose My gosh those are huge animals. Hope someday you'll be able to see one from your window. Take care and be safe.

Love that little cabin in the woods, but I don’t understand why you you wouldn’t stay at the larger cabin? It seems much more comfortable, but I can also see the rustic appeal of the log cabin. Nice that you have the choices!

(Tom again.)
I hope Cierra is doing well now!! I'm glad you both are able to enjoy this new wild-life out in the "woods", as they say, together. Be careful out there. Stay warm. Stay safe. I hope you get to see that moose up close one day soon. That would be really neat if you were to look out your window and see that moose really close up. Maybe you'll get lucky and see it outside your picture window as it is looking in.
(Kyle, my wife and l were living in the city
[ of Richmond, Va. ] about 20 years ago and we looked out of our bathroom window and saw a deer walking beside our house. It was really neat. It shouldn't have been near our house because of all the traffic outside our front door. That's what was so neat about it.) Take care, sir!! See ya!!
